I've been sewing again, and finally made something for myself. :) Most of my things are gifts, but I tried out this tote pattern and loved it so much I had to keep one. What to make one? Click here .
I've also been working on burp cloths for the many new babies on the way. I have about 12 cut out and ready to sew, but haven't been able to because I've been busy with the boys. I have done one, which I'll show below.

As I get older I am more and more thankful for everything domestic my mom taught me. She taught me to sew a long time ago. I've sewn off and on over the last few years, but this summer I've used it more than ever. Recently, I've been working on aprons. I hope to make a stash for my "gift closet." :) Here's the most recent one. I found this on a blog. Check it out here under Tutorials....Darby's blog is addicting, just fyi :).
During the summer, I did a project for Thrasher Electric. I sewed patches onto the new uniforms. I had 4 for patches for 42 shirts. Needless to say it took me longer than I had hoped, but I got it done. Ever since, I've had a sewing bug. Here's one of the patches - the flag. Got to represent! :)
