It's been a while

I'm taking it easy today cause it's my day....I'm turning 28 today! The sun is shining; Fielding is sleeping, and Wells is...well, not sleeping but doing something in his room and I'm fine with that. He's supposed to be napping though. I plan to do another post about my birthday {post birthday - ha!} so for now I'll fill you in on what we've been doing.

I've been doing been doing little projects around the house that I think need to be done if we are going to be renting out the house soon....No. We don't actually have a house under contract yet. But, I feel pretty confient that soon {maybe next week?} we will. I hope anyway. :) So, I've been painting the front door, caulking trim, and bought paint for the baseboards but haven't gotten to that yet. I've also been working on the boys' beds. Wells' is up and in his room. He loves sleeping in a big boy bed! {Don't have a pic yet.} It's so fun now that he's able to do so much. I've also been painting some furniture, and sewing some. Here are some cute diaper pouches I made the other day. I kept one and really love using it!

Ah, the beds...here they are before painted and I'll post painted next time. I had to really sand them down. But they look sooo much better now!

Fielding is starting to stand on his own and clap. He is such a cutie! The last week or some he's really come into his own. He is energetic, happy but demanding and very curious. I love my little guy!
Hope you all are having a great week!

Snowed in!

Today is Wednesday, and we still have tons of snow that came down Sunday night! The last time I remember having this snow was the blizzard of 1993 {?}. Although we're getting a little stir crazy, we have had a lot of fun with it. Here are some pictures of our fun in the snow. The boys had a blast and loved sledding on the snowboard, floats and Tupperware. :) Luckily, the roads seem to be getting a little better. Josh made it to the office today, but I haven't ventured out with the boys yet. We've been playing with the trains a lot, catching up on laundry {and making a lot of dirty laundry}, and cooking. I'm now glad I made a storm trip to the grocery on Sunday. Hope you enjoy the pictures. They're not amazing, but they're all I can do now...one of these days I should really a better camera.

{Notice his "snow boots"...yup. that's a grocery bag wrapped around his shoes sealed with electrical tape. Classy. I know.}

{Fielding sat and watched and was perfectly happy. He loved going down the hill even on his own. I was so impressed with him!}

{Josh taught them how to make snow balls and throw them at mommy. They loved this.}
