The shutters are up! Hurray! I feel like the house is put together now. Here are some pictures of the final product. I'm pretty happy with how the color turned out. I now realize how building a house from ground up could be really stressful. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

I planted a fall garden!! Below is my a picture of my new gardening spot. Josh helped me take out a HUGE holly bush to open up this sunny spot. Here is a picture of it about 2 weeks after I planted....I'll update the picture as it starts to grow.

This summer we have done a lot of exterior renovations. The house really needed it too. First we took down 6 large pine trees in the front yard. I was so excited to get rid of these trees and all the pine straw they created. I asked the tree company for some of the mulch and they left it all! It took me nearly 3 weeks to spread it all! But, now my garden beds are mulched in for the coming winter, and I have a few more beds than I did before. :)
